Mike Ting


Mike Ting is a blue collar worker by day, and an artist and PhD candidate by night, whose work has been shown at the NZ Film Archive and Enjoy Public Art Gallery. Mike is interested in how the poetic can be used to express the political, and how power affects subjectivity. In 'Brighter Future' a man in a suit optimistically moonwalks past the camera repeatedly, invoking  progress and regression in a single gesture.
